Air Jordan 13 Retro "Court Purple"

The Air Jordan 13 “Court Purple” is a January 2022 release of the retro basketball shoe in a colorway that shows love to the team uniform colors of the Los Angeles Lakers. The “Court Purple” edition of Michael Jordan’s thirteenth signature shoe is yet another popular colorway that pays respects to the Lakers—the first being the aptly named “Lakers” makeup that was released in July 2019. Sans any official Lakers branding, the “Court Purple” nonetheless features the Lakers’ color palette on its design. The “Court Purple” mimics the color block of the Jordan 13’s original “Bred” colorway by substituting the red accenting for purple along the heel and mudguard. The black mesh upper is treated to a 3M reflective finish. A holographic emblem denoting Jordan’s “Black Cat” nickname, meant to resemble a panther’s eye, can be found on the heel. A Court Purple embroidered Jumpman is found on the tongue and white “Jordan” detailing appears on the vamp. Black midsole walls complete the look. Release date: January 8, 2022
